About Us

Shock Wave Engineering was founded in 2008 by Murray Bredin. Murray obtained a B.Sc. Engineering (Aeronautical) from the University of the Witwatersrand in 1998 and a Ph.D. from Wits in 2002 for a thesis titled ‘The Measurement of Drag in Unsteady Compressible Flow’. After completing his studies at Wits Murray spent a number of years at Pebble Bed Modular Reactor (Pty) Ltd.
