Bottom Dumper

A bottom dumper is used in the road construction industry to rapidly move large quantities of soil. The purpose of the testing was to validate a finite element model and provide input forces for a fatigue analysis performed using the finite element model. The test consisted of 29 strain measurements, accelerations, suspension displacement measurement and GPS position, velocity and heading. Some more detail is given here.
